Dogging the Dogs

The Humane Society has gone on record stating that dog bites have become an epidemic. While I agree that the more than five million annually recorded bites are of epidemic proportions, it is nonsense to categorize dog bites themselves as an epidemic. A variety of parasitic mite is usually responsible for mange seen on dogs. There are three major types of this mange though one is rarer and self limiting. The other types are considered more serious and require intervention in most cases to bring under control. One of the problems with these tiny parasites is they re difficult to identify unless a microscope of magnifying device is used making it hard for the owner to spot them.

Pets are often thought to be an essential part of the family, on the other hand several owners ever stop considering the potential of their beloved animal turning into gravely ill and demanding considerable medical therapy. Veterinary costs, exactly like some other medical costs, are getting to be additional expensive over the last several decades as new technology has been released.

Ticks feed on your dog’s blood. They can usually be found in wooded areas, or places with plenty of tall grass. They lie in wait for mammals to pass, hoping for the chance to jump aboard and dig themselves in. When your canine passes by a tick (or hundreds of them), it will jump onto him, and attach its mouth to his skin. It will then begin feeding.

If you’re fed up of picking up the cat’s litter and marching down the hall to the waste disposal then help is at hand! If the odor is making you sick, then help is at hand! Flushable cat litter provides the answer to these problems.
